We are thrilled to congratulate our Premier League Head Coach Leanne Eichler, who has been named the 2026 Nippy’s Performance Coach of the Year by Netball SA.
The award recognises coaches who make an outstanding contribution to the development of emerging and young performers, and is fitting recognition of the impact Leanne continues to have both on and off the court.
It caps off another incredible season for Leanne, who coached our Premier League team to the 2026 premiership and a fourth consecutive title. This year also marked our 12th consecutive Premier League Grand Final appearance, with Leanne having now coached Contax in 14 Grand Finals across her 15 seasons at the helm.
While the results speak for themselves, Leanne’s contribution to Contax extends well beyond premierships. Her commitment to developing players, creating opportunities and building the next generation of Blues has been a significant part of our Premier League program and the strength of our Club.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Leanne leading our Blues and couldn’t be happier to see her contribution recognised.
